Fuoco in DTF is excellent. The problem is that it's best eaten in house. I haven't had great luck with takeout. Parking is tough and you lose the fresh out of the oven texture. The crust is one of the best I've had.

I'm going to shout out Big Slice. Place used to be a bit of a shit hole but they got new ownership a bit over a year ago and it's solid now. Their calzone is one of my favorites and it's pretty huge and cheap. Not my top choice, but all of my other choices have already been listed.

Slice of New York (theres one on both sides of you in Seal Beach and Huntington Beach) IMO its as good as you'll get in the area as far as NY style goes. If you want strictly "in" sunset, Stoneys is pretty good and sells by the slice.

Truly and Apizza Doho in Dana Point are my choice for best. Gibronis is worth mentioning for Detroit style. Pizza Port is the best for beer and pizza, the lunch slices always taste better than the full pie and it's an incredible deal if you just want a couple of slices and a brew.
