Having eaten at Selanne's a few time, I'm picking Anjin (Japanese BBQ in Costa Mesa) 9 times out of 10. Anjin (and their familial-related Tsuruhashi in Fountain Valley) is my favorite place to eat.

Funnily enough I did my birthday dinner at Hanna’s 3 or 4 years ago and found it utterly forgettable except for the ribeye I ordered that had a big line of gristle running through it. I doubt all of their steaks are that bad, but with that being my experience on a first visit I haven’t been motivated to go back.
