Truly and Apizza Doho in Dana Point are my choice for best. Gibronis is worth mentioning for Detroit style. Pizza Port is the best for beer and pizza, the lunch slices always taste better than the full pie and it's an incredible deal if you just want a couple of slices and a brew.

If you park on cristianitos and hike down towards trestles it's great for birding shore birds. Paved and moderate, decent little walk. No bathrooms (cant remember if porta johns, but definitely no actual bathrooms). Pack snacks and water. Well, and there will be birds on the trail heading down as…

If you are looking for cheap I would say the outside patio at Biggies or the upstairs seating by the window or outside at Pizza Port. If you are looking for moderate to expensive I would go with the other options listed here.
