Pizza D'Oro had specials everyday of the week including all you can eat lasagna on Mondays and all you can eat spaghetti on Wednesdays. I live on Balboa Island and I normally go to the peninsula for bars and food. Crack Shack is a killer chicken spot in Eastside Costa Mesa (on 17th and Orange) that has a very family friendly vibe. It's on the way into Newport Beach.
