Playa Mesa is good; parking is a bitch. Javier's is overpriced and overrated. It's not bad. I'd go there for 70% of the listed price. If you want something a little more El Torito feeling, Avila's El Ranchito is a thing. The Lake Forest location is better and feels a little bit less mass-market…
