In general, the restaurants in Newport are not great. For a steakhouse, there is Oceans 48 (at fashion island), ok enough food, aims to present as upscale. But not nearly as good as Alexanders (Pasadena). IMO, the steak at Selanne (Laguna) is generally better, but the vibe is more low-key / old…Read the full comment on Reddit →
