India Kitchen, which is just barely past Irvine into Tustin, is our go-to. We've tried a bunch of restaurants in the area and India Kitchen is one of, if not the, best. They have a great lunch buffet with a variety of options that are not overly spicy or salty like some other places. You can check out their Yelp page to see all the reviews too.

You were provided anapurna and Vishnu which are the best in Irvine. Clay pot is excellent too, also in Irvine. My favorite near Irvine by a long shot is Mint in Laguna Hills very near to the freeway.
