Yorba Linda Town Center is the best if you are looking for an area with all types of food. They have Cafe Rio, The Habit, Blaze Pizza, Peet's Coffee, Clean Juice, and a few other places. I practically live in that center at this point

Best pizza - folks, RIP (two locations in HB - pick either one) Best tacos - Primecut taqueria or Que Vida Tacos Best burger - in n out, TK burger, or 25 degrees Best breakfast - the hangout, nightingale in Bella Terra Other must try’s - bear flag for poke/fish and a great view

Depends on the budget I think For a casual birthday dinner with good food and drinks that’s not too fancy and won’t break the bank: Monarch 9 in YL, or KIN Izakaya in Fountain Valley If we’re looking to go nicer: Summit House, Tsuruhashi, or Ohshima for their omakase If money is not a concern: Mastro’s, Knife Pleat

Angel's Tijuana Tacos Food Truck in Santa Ana is the only local place better than Los Cholos. But Los Cholos is still a great spot. Korean my goto AYCE is Gram's in Garden Grove although Mr. BBQ in Fullerton is also really good. Ramen Akimoto in Yorba Linda for legit Chicken Paitan Ramen. Hiro Nori is my goto for Tonkotsu Ramen, Pork Belly Buns and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice.

Just tried Matsu last week and was not impressed with the sushi. Not a lot of variety and we had to google half the sushi rolls because the menu didn’t list all the ingredients for them. The sushi itself was okay. Sushi Imari in Costa Mesa is our favorite.

Not a popular take, but the salmon bowl at Yasai in Placentia is my jam. Also, great tacos next door. Also, there’s a fish place across the street called fresh of the boat that also makes great fish. Also, craftsman pizza, same spot, really good. Also, I really like tacos patron in Anaheim, and also I miss taco loco in Laguna beach.
