Fuoco in DTF is excellent. The problem is that it's best eaten in house. I haven't had great luck with takeout. Parking is tough and you lose the fresh out of the oven texture. The crust is one of the best I've had.

Les Amis in Fullerton. Great food Live jazz w a great trio 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Edit: located in DTF great Mediterranean food and the friendliest host owners/ever. The beautiful patio is now open for dining once again.

Charlie's Best Burger. The family deal is delicious too. Manager used to give me and the bro free burgers when we were 9 years old because he knew our parents struggled with money. Small gesture meant the world to us. Best burger in OC.

Big Slice Pizza

I'm going to shout out Big Slice. Place used to be a bit of a shit hole but they got new ownership a bit over a year ago and it's solid now. Their calzone is one of my favorites and it's pretty huge and cheap. Not my top choice, but all of my other choices have already been listed.

Nick's super burger has a pretty decent burger. I get the bacon avocado cheeseburger combo and it's less than 15$ after taxes. My go to right now. But open to suggestions

Ensenada’s is a really good surf and turf Waba Grill has decent teriyaki for a chain Nick the Greek is pretty good Greek food run by some faculty at CSUF Noodle Street and What’s Up Men are both decent ramen places. There’s a lot around to see within walking distance.

My wife and daughter (both from Japan) love Kaori sushi in Fullerton. They always get the premium chirashi sushi - a generous amount of good sashimi at a decent price. I’m vegetarian so can’t really speak to it lol.

The Sushi by Jin at Orangethorpe and Brookhurst is currently our favorite place for AYCE. Quality is always good. On our last visit they were a little short handed, but normally the servers are all very attentive and on top of things. At the end of the meal they always offer a small portion of matcha ice cream on the house.
