Chubby Sushi and Ramen

['Sushi', 'Ramen'] · Brea · 5 source comments

Hello Sushi is pretty good for AYCE. Roll & Grill is also decent, especially for the price. Their sashimi is pretty good, they also have a teriyaki bowl that's good and a good price. There's a place on Orangethorpe and Brookhurst that does riceless sushi really well, although I forget their name…

Bruno's

Italian · Brea · 4 source comments

Birch St has a couple of my favorites, Brunos for Italian and ChaCha’s for latin. Reunion, in the same building as the Improv is good, too.

California Fish Grill

The closest one to campus is Pho Ovilia, which is next to the 99cent store. The same plaza as five guys and yoshinoya. Personally I'm not a big fan of their pho so if you're looking for convenience this is the spot. Another one is next to Honda-ya next to target on Yorbalinda and placentia. its…

Griffins, Old Brea Chop House, Finneys Crafthouse, or Reunion Kitchen are all within walking distance of the Improv. Fogo De Ciao along Imperial Hwy but the parking situation is terrible

Griffin's

Huh - no mentions of Griffin's which has refined food and fantastic cocktails, or Chubby Sushi and Ramen, which has terrific... sushi... and ramen... but both are great places on Brea Blvd. just north of the Improv.

Oki Doki

Sushi · Brea · 1 source comments

I can’t hype up Oki Doki roll and sushi in Brea enough. Fish quality is great and rolls are reasonably priced. If you go, the Cajun garlic butter tuna is to die for. On top of great food the employees are friendly and really make the whole experience.

I've seen some of my favorites mentioned already, so I'll add a few new ones: (1) Punjabi Tandoor in Anaheim (across from the Packing House) - the best Chana Masala and Lamb Vindaloo ever. Family run business with multiple locations but I've only ever been to the one in Anaheim. (2) Mi Rak Korean…
