If you can get a smidge away from the resort, in Anaheim's Center city, there's a place called Craft by Smoke + Fire. There isn't a bad thing on their menu and it's in a little area where there are other restaurants and bars, including "Strong Water" which is a super cool Tiki Bar. But if you're going there you'll want a reservation.

Check out Packing House in Anaheim. Lots of options and everything I’ve had there has been great. Strong Water is great too but probably too short notice to get in and not sure if you’re a drinker or not

Strong Water is great for tiki drinks and Polynesian food. They have outdoor seating for walk up or you can check reservations on their website, they might have some inside tables open during the week (inside is a great atmosphere). Also Okayama Kobo Bakery is a delicious unique Japanese bakery…
