mexi cali grill on bolsa chica and heil. good salsa/hot sauce too. my 2nd fave burrito after local favorite nick’s deli. i did not care for epic burrito shack.

Fisherman’s has an excellent view being on the pier, but the food isn’t anything special. What are you all looking for? There’s a pretty wide range of restaurants. The new Mediterranean spot Ilya is excellent as is Pronto (Italian). As others have said, Nick’s (elevated American), south of nicks…

Vine, Nick’s, and South of Nick’s (Mexican) are all favorites for dinner. Sea Summit trail has beautiful views. Not sure about specific birding areas, but if you enjoy plants, visit Plant Depot in San Juan Capistrano; you will see hummingbirds and lots of other beautiful birds there, too. My guests from out of town loved going there. Enjoy!

Riders Club has the best burgers. Seafood place down the street on el Camino also is great, lobster rolls are amazing. On Del Mar, Nicks is great for a date, as is South of Nicks nearby. Cafe Mimosa has the best breakfast and brunch.
