If you like Thai and sushi , MahKin is really good it’s downtown HB, I think it is WAY better than Sushi On Fire & more of a local vibe. North shore poke or Poki Nori for Poke and Bear Flag is great for fresh fish. If you want to venture to Newport there are lots and of places, but a classic is the Crab Cooker. Mah-Kin Thai restaurant in downtown HB on Olive and Lake. Great Thai and Japanese food. Or if you venture to Fountain Valley next to HB; Kappo Honda Japanese izakaya or Tsuruhashi Japanese bbq.Read the full comment on Reddit →
