Matiki Island BBQ is a great choice about a mile away from Knott's, on Lincoln just west of Beach.
Musubi Square off La Palma & Magnolia is another one you can try and is good for takeout. My wife picked it up for dinner the other night and the eel musubi taco was awesome.
And a little further out, give Maxwell Chicken Rice off La Palma & Valley View a try for some Hainan chicken rice.

About a mile from Disney is the anaheim packing house with lots of little restaurants in one building. My favorite is georgias southern food. There’s a speakeasy called blind rabbit - try to get a reservation there on their website. Down the street from the packing house is center street where…

Twenty-Eight is a hidden Gem in Irvine, everything on their food menu and drink program is quality. Also, Houston’s is also very consistent and always has great dishes.

Pepz is nothing special. Just a pizza chain. Marri's is what I would recommend for Italian, since Mama Cozza's is also closed.
Georgia's is a good idea; I also really like the loaded fries at The Kroft in the Packing House.

For KBBQ -Personal opinion but Mo ran gak isn't all that its hyped up to be for me. I personally enjoy Grams BBQ. Its an all you can eat and you can put your name down on the yelp app which is super convenient. They have 3 different AYCE menus/prices so you can definitely get a better bang for your…

Hawaiian BBQ is a solid option. ~$250 you can get bbq chicken, beef, and some short rib + rice and mac salad feeds 8-10 easily without leftovers. I catered through L&L before. Easy to get in touch with, but does need be booked a few weeks ahead of time because they need to schedule someone to cook all that food for you. Not sure if delivery is an option however.

Definitely don’t focus on Irvine if you want really good food.

Hen house - Mediterranean kebabs. Definitely get their rotisserie chickens and kebabs. They don’t come with hummus which…

I've seen some of my favorites mentioned already, so I'll add a few new ones:
(1) Punjabi Tandoor in Anaheim (across from the Packing House) - the best Chana Masala and Lamb Vindaloo ever. Family run business with multiple locations but I've only ever been to the one in Anaheim.
(2) Mi Rak Korean…

The closest one to campus is Pho Ovilia, which is next to the 99cent store. The same plaza as five guys and yoshinoya. Personally I'm not a big fan of their pho so if you're looking for convenience this is the spot.
Another one is next to Honda-ya next to target on Yorbalinda and placentia. its…
