I've just started going to Bo's on Hamilton and Brookhurst. They could stand a few more bagel varieties but I find their bagels better than Shirley's by a mile.
I'm a breakfasts bagel fiend. I get one every Saturday and Sunday morning. Here are my favorites. Gourmet Bagels and Cafe on Beach blvd in the Walmart shopping center close to the beach. They have the best egg and bacon/ham/sausage and cheese bagels and the best service. If you just want a bagel…
Mexican: El Matador and Que Vida and Super Pollo
Bagels: Boil & Bake and Shirley's (same family)
Steak and general high end: La Cave or A Restaurant (they have a lot of good food there). Oceans 48 is expensive but tremendous.
I saw a comment about BagelMania, which I like, even though it is busy, but I love Bruegger's Bagels. There is none in Huntington Beach, but if you are willing to drive, it is the best bagel place that I have ever been to. Brueggers has better eggs in the bagel sandwiches, in my opinion, fried eggs instead of he weird kind of eggs in the BagelMania sandwiches.
Sushi: Jinbei, Galbitang: Tang190, Boba: 7Leaves, Fast Chinese: Yu's Garden, Ramen: Marufuku, Italian: Luna Rosa, Bagels: East Coast Bagel, Korean Fried Chicken: Furai at the Zion market, Burger: Peter's Gourmade Burgers (Tustin)
Lets call ‘aren’t expensive’ as less than $20. Asada is very reasonable price and good. Adonis for a quick wrap. La Sirena has killer burritos. Sergios Empanadas. Shirleys Bagels. Unfortunately not a lot of ‘cheap eats’ here in Laguna.
