Habuya in Tustin, an okinawan dining place. Owned by an amazing and fierce okinawan lady. Best time to go is 10 min before they open because they fill up immediately, and the wait list grows to about 30 parties by 5:30

Peter's Burgers in Tustin. They had a car plow through their storefront last year or the year before that and they recently reopened. We feared them not being able to reopen so we are happy to give them money. Not cheap but the food is worth the cost.

Real talk. The new Mess Hall at The Flight (technically in Tustin, but on the boarder) near the District has the most amazing taco and burrito place. Fonda Moderna. Amazing fish tacos. Incredible vegan and vegetarian options. A super popular taco flight. They make their own tortillas daily. Amazing place. I eat there twice a week.

The Taco Station LLC in Tustin. It's a taco counter inside a liquor store/carniceria and they've got a bunch of grills out back. Traditional stuff, non-traditional stuff, and they have pollo asado on the weekends. total hidden gem.

Jalapeños used to be in Westpark but now you have to go to the Tustin location. It’s decent enough for when you don’t want to go all the way to Santa Ana.
