My favorite is the "hot" breakfast burrito from Nick's Deli in Seal Beach. 223 Main St, Seal Beach, CA 90740 +1 562-598-5072 I call when I'm on my way so it is waiting for me when I arrive. They take cash only and they cost around $7. Well worth the drive down PCH from HB to SB in my opinion.

Slice of New York (theres one on both sides of you in Seal Beach and Huntington Beach) IMO its as good as you'll get in the area as far as NY style goes. If you want strictly "in" sunset, Stoneys is pretty good and sells by the slice.

I like Fortune Cookie. There's a location in FV on brookhurst and Ellis. Not sure if they serve the items you mentioned (it's been a while since I've been there) but it's the best I know that isn't fast food like Panda. Menu is online.

I’ll definitely check Riip out. If you’re looking for NY pizza, Slice of NY (though the seal beach location was better last I checked years ago) and Ghost Pizza Kitchen (a new place, but they’re consistently good) are my recommendations. For general pizza, Johnny’s Saloon’s pizza was good from what I remember.

As everyone is mentioning, the fourth is a zoo down here at Newport. So just be safe and cautious! It can be fun but also overwhelming. Mutt Lynch’s is a poppin spot during the day could be fun Saturday mixed aged crowd but very airy and open and right on the board walk. Mayors table/ lido house…

Just off the top of my head, Black Trumpet off Beach Boulevard is good. If you're not fixed on HB and like jazz, Spaghettini in Seal Beach is a great spot for dinner and music. Ola at Pacific City is good and has some really nice views.
