Terra Mia is my favorite by far. But if you want thin crust, I would recommend New York's Upper Crust.

You'll get some good recommendations here but going to LA may be your best bet.
I found that Snooty Fox in Laguna Hills (bordering Irvine) to be a decent option if you're craving NYC diners.

Laguna Hills - Classic Chinese, they have a wide variety of cantonese food to choose from. Better than the other cantonese food places in Irvine. They have roast duck but you may have to order in advance. No dim sum here though.

A&J was already mentioned but I’ll also throw out Shin Sen Gumi as a good Japanese udon spot.
Slightly outside of Irvine: Izakaya Minami in Laguna Hills has good soba. Also a fan of Marugame in South Coast Plaza.

You were provided anapurna and Vishnu which are the best in Irvine. Clay pot is excellent too, also in Irvine. My favorite near Irvine by a long shot is Mint in Laguna Hills very near to the freeway. I highly recommend the Lamb Karahi, it's amazing. Be forewarned the Food runs spicey. Its the best Indian I've had.
